  1. Our experts' solutions

BBA performed the detailed engineering, project management and commissioning of the electrical substation and collector system for the Roncevaux wind farm, a 75 MW power plant composed of 34 wind turbines interconnected to Hydro-Québec’s 315 kV grid. BBA mitigated risks at the site by performing factory acceptance tests (FAT) on control panels and on the protection devices of control buildings.

BBA team members provided the developer with technical support to connect the wind farm to the Hydro-Québec grid while meeting the agreed energization date. Our experts ensure coordination among project stakeholders (developers, contractors, turbine manufacturers and Hydro-Québec) to perform testing and commissioning.
