CO2 capture at Saint-Félicien
CO2 Solutions is a leader in carbon capture using enzymes. In 2018, the company plans to start up a first commercial mill using this innovative technology in Saint-Félicien, Québec. The project involves capturing the CO2 produced by the Resolute Forest Products pulp mill, purifying it and transporting it to Toundra Greenhouse, a cutting-edge greenhouse complex adjacent to the Resolute mill. Since CO2 facilitates plant growth, the project will both cut CO2 emissions into the air while maximizing Toundra Greenhouse’s performance.
