Julia Gartley is an engineer with an MBA and leads the Vancouver Mineral Processing team. Throughout her career, she has developed in-depth knowledge of the mining life cycle, from ore processing, laboratory testing programs and NI 43-101 studies to engineering management, commissioning and operational support. She has supported mining clients around the world, including North and South America and Africa.
“Julia is passionate about continuously improving mining practices. For many years, she’s been involved in numerous professional associations to help further her profession. In addition to her responsibilities at BBA, Julia Gartley is also a member of the Board of Directors of Mine Shift (formerly Me Too Mining), where she co-developed the DIGGER program. She has served on the executive committee of Canadian Mineral Processors for British Columbia and Yukon for several years, volunteered for MineralsEd and has served on the Canadian Institute of Mining’s technical committee.
