This innovative musical education initiative implemented by the Montréal Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with the Université de Montréal and the Commission scolaire de la Pointe-de-l’Île, is aimed at preventing children from dropping out of school and stimulating their development.
Over the next few months, the Montréal-Nord borough will create a public square with a mural symbolizing the project’s success and the value of music as a vehicle for learning. This legacy will also serve to thank partners, including BBA, for their contribution.
“Because it’s important for BBA to prepare the next generation, it places education at the heart of its social commitment program. The BBA team is proud to be associated with this inspiring project and to see all the good it has brought to so many young people who may one day become great scientists and leave their mark on tomorrow’s society,” says André Allaire, President.
BBA volunteered to perform the engineering of the building’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as the slab on which the Annex of the Saint-Rémi school rests and where the project is taking place.
