As a seasoned manager with an impressive track record in building and scaling businesses in the technical services sector, organically and through mergers and acquisitions, Carole’s mandate will be to spearhead BBA’s power business expansion in the U.S. with the same vision, mission and values that has fueled BBA’s growth for over 40 years. She will also support BBA’s expansion in Eastern Canada.
“In the next few years, wind energy will become increasingly prominent in Eastern Canada and will accelerate in the U.S. Carole’s knowledge of developers, owner-operators and contractors who are active in the power sector will help us engage our teams and put our expertise to good use in developing those new markets. Having lived and worked in the U.S. for a few years, this in-depth understanding of the U.S. market will definitely be beneficial to BBA,” explains François Vitez, Vice-President, Renewable Power at BBA.
“I’m excited about the prospect of developing new markets and building lasting business relationships with BBA clients,” states Carole. “I feel a strong kinship with the firm’s culture and its people, and I’m looking forward to supporting my new colleagues in capturing further business stemming from the energy transition.”
Carole has a bachelor’s degree in Science from Université de Montréal and a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal. She’s a member of the board of directors of NERGICA, an innovation and applied research centre for renewable energy.
