This recognition means that we have implemented and developed a structured approach to occupational health and well-being using the method proposed by the Groupe entreprise en santé. This simple, structured and effective process is based on the best practices in the field and has allowed us to:
- Appoint the Health and Safety department to be responsible for health and well-being across the firm.
- Launch a new Health and Safety policy.
- Ask our employees to take a well-being survey to better understand team needs.
- Organize Health and Safety Month.
These elements align with our People first value, which means we treat our employees as we would the people we love. They have many benefits for BBA, which include employee retention, recruitment and engagement; improved team spirit and work environment; significant increases in the effects healthy lifestyles have on people; and improved work team and corporate commitment and performance.
"The health, safety and well-being of employees are key values at BBA. I’m very optimistic about how much my colleagues are interested in this topic, and I invite them to continue their efforts toward greater well-being at work!” says Émile Jacques, Director, Health, Safety and Environment at BBA.
