High-level evaluation of transmission line parameters and energy costs for industrial loads in remote locations
In remote locations, industrial clients sometimes mistakenly tend to overlook interconnecting to utility grids because of the required higher initial investment.

This white paper presents a strategy to:
- Define high-level parameters for the power transmission system
- Evaluate equivalent energy costs for specific industrial sites in remote locations
- Determine whether a more detailed study is required
The results can also serve as a baseline scenario for designing a transmission line.
