Professional Development

Through its ability to manage large and complex engineering projects, BBA has become a leader in professional development. Our experts, all specialized in the latest technologies in their respective fields, are invited to write articles and make presentations at seminars, public forums, and conferences.

Their expertise covers a variety of subjects, such as arc flash hazards, grounding, as well as new technologies, standards and regulations.

Training in Industrial Environments 

BBA provides ad hoc training in the industrial environment or specific training as part of engineering mandates. By being regularly involved in our clients' projects from start to finish, i.e. from the initial project definition to full implementation and commissioning, BBA can support your team members in their continuing education.

Our interventions, which are geared towards concrete results, meet the various needs of maintenance, operation and engineering personnel:

• Proficiency courses on new technologies
• Optimization of troubleshooting methods
• Skills upgrading
• Training programs linked with succession and growth plans
• Development of coaching programs

For each training mandate, BBA adjusts to operational constraints, to the nature of the facilities, to the availability of resources and to the profile of the employees that will receive the training.

Training in institutions and universities

For nearly 30 years, we have nurtured close business links with various institutional clients and a number of universities. This partnership is demonstrated in our various projects and collaborative work.

For instance, several BBA professionals work in close collaboration with the professors in the electrical and mining and metals engineering departments at Laval and McGill universities. Our experts also teach at the École Polytechnique de l'Université de Montréal, the École de technologie supérieure (ETS) and Université Laval.

We invest in continuous improvement aiming to train today's and tomorrow's engineers which, in return, contributes to building our strengths.
