After acquiring considerable experience and developing a close professional relationship as members of the Shawinigan Engineering group, Réjean M. Breton and Jean-Louis Banville decided to join forces in 1979 with the goal of offering high-level engineering expertise and leading-edge solutions, firmly rooted in values that include respect, commitment, team spirit, collaboration and accountability.
The years that followed confirmed these lofty objectives, with many new graduates joining the firm for the stimulating challenges it offered. Eager to apply their newly acquired knowledge, they arduously took on the tasks and projects assigned to them. It is with this core of dedicated professionals that the young company made its mark among the giants of engineering... with tremendous drive and openness.
Over the years, BBA created its own niche and increased its sphere of activities with the arrival of partners from complementary fields of expertise. In 1998, in order to further diversify its services and continue its expansion, BBA acquired Comeau, Boyle inc., a firm specialized in energy systems, electrotechnology, advanced controls, automation and instrumentation. The following year, BBA acquired Secome for its expertise in industrial mechanical engineering.
Today, the entrepreneurial values of the two founders are still at the heart of our mission and the main link that joins our employees and our partners
