PROJECT DESCRIPTION                          

This project was carried out with Hatch Acres. BBA/Hatch Acres provided engineering, environmental planning and field services during the preliminary engineering and construction phases. In this project, BBA/Hatch Acres were Owner's Engineer for the construction of the 99 MW Prince I and 90 MW Prince II wind farms. The scope of work for BBA consisted of the following : 

• Preliminary engineering
• Preparation of the performance requirements, supplementary conditions, technical specifications and document list
• Review of BOP design, detail engineering, drawings and equipment specifications
• Field supervision for the electrical collector systems, substations, transmission and overhead lines, and the overall commissioning of the wind farm
• Design review for a 34.5 kV collector system and wind turbine's grounding grid
• Participation in value engineering/cost reduction process
