PROJECT DESCRIPTION
BBA completed an overall review of the utilization of energy resources, resulting in an overall assessment and definition of potential energy savings for specific sectors. BBA identified core areas for potential savings, developed an energy master plan, and analyzed energy data in order to produce a management plan for consumables.
As a result of the above, BBA's team proposed improvement measures and alternative strategies:
- Heat recovery from furnaces
- Centralized HVAC controls
- Centralized steam production
- Replacement of pelletizing plant's air dryers
- Numerous pumping projects
- Air volume reduction
