PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Bloom Lake Project is the first major iron ore project in Eastern Canada since the 1970s. BBA was mandated to carry out the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) of the infrastructures, buildings, crushing, concentration, tailings and iron ore concentrate handling.

• Basic and detailed engineering - Design, calculations, drawings and specifications for all the disciplines
• Engineering services for the complete realization of the mandate
• Procurement management and transportation of all the equipment and materials required for the construction phase
• Construction management including site safety, contract administration, schedule, procedures, etc.
• Assistance throughout the pre-operational testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the facilities
