PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is a typical representation of BBA's civil/structure department achievements. The mandate was to perform detailed engineering, equipment selection, drawing approval and on-site assistance for the 161 kV wind power plant located in Anse-à-Valleau. BBA also provided the technical support and carried out commissioning.

The scope of work for the Civil/structure department included the following: 

34.5 kV-161 kV substation

• Detailed engineering for structural and civil works
• Equipment foundation, retention basin and separator pit drawings. 

161 kV electric line

• Detailed engineering, on-site work follow-up and commissioning
• Survey specifications and on-site assistance
• Electric line itinerary plans
• Portal structures calculations and detailed drawings
• Foundation pole and guy detailed drawings.
