The Construction Management group manages construction work performed by contractors according to a project's construction plan.
The Construction Management group's main responsibilities include:
- Management of a project's construction services in close collaboration with the client and the community
- Development and coordination of the site's health and safety program
- Development of constructive and harmonious labour relations with union representatives and unionized employees
- Management and coordination of work performed by contractors
- Construction cost planning and control
- Administration of construction contracts and management of contract amendments
- Engineering support at the site, including the technical supervision of work performed
- Procurement and storage, at the site, of equipment to be installed by contractors
- Quality control of construction work
