Community involvement

BBA is well aware of the importance of contributing to the community. We are very active with our youth, with the region's arts and cultural community, and with social causes. 

BBA and our youth  

BBA built its firm on its passion. We have confidence in the future and we continually invest in the development of our talents. Our commitment is evidenced by concrete actions aimed at encouraging and stimulating students who are contemplating a career in engineering. Each year, BBA welcomes elementary, high school, college and university students to demystify the profession and share with them our passion for engineering. Within the same perspective, our employees readily give their time to visit schools and tell them about their career experience. 

BBA and the arts 

BBA encourages and supports culture and the arts in its region. The synergy that BBA has developed between the business community and the local population was initiated in 2000 with the Journée des arts BBA. Our cultural partners - Arts Station, Choeur de la montagne, Maison amérindienne, Musée des beaux-arts de Mont-Saint-Hilaire, L'Arrière Scène and Patrimoine Hilairemontais - joined our efforts from the outset. Today, this activity has evolved into a new approach that includes social evenings and various activities that are held throughout the year and to which the local population is invited to attend free of charge. Connaisseurs and neophytes of all ages enjoy these events where they can broaden their horizons on the Montérégie's arts and culture scene.

Also toward its objective of supporting the arts, BBA is involved with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and participates in the development of its international reputation.

 BBA and social causes  

For the community, BBA holds a yearly blood drive in its offices since 2001. The firm also actively participates in Centraide's fundraising campaign, and has received several awards of excellence in recognition of its financial support and the outstanding contribution of its employees.

This will to serve the community is also expressed in BBA's recent commitment to Engineers Without Borders Québec whose mission is closely linked with BBA's: to help improve the living conditions of communities through engineering, while respecting the environment and local social and cultural values.

Finally, BBA also supports the causes of its client partners, through sponsorships, donations, or its participation in various events.

These various contributions reinforce BBA's commitment and its mission to contribute to the sustainable development of economic, social and cultural life of communities.
