BBA opens a new office in Vancouver

The firm aims to increase its presence in Canada in coming years

Mont-Saint-Hilaire (Quebec) - September 11, 2009 - BBA, a consulting engineering firm numbering over 400 employees, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in downtown Vancouver. The firm is already active in Western Canada through several energy sector mandates. BBA's establishment in Vancouver is in line with the firm's strategic plan to extend its presence across Canada.

This new office will enable us to serve our clients better in Western Canada, and will prove an excellent business development lever for the company," declared BBA President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Steeve Fiset.

BBA has already built a solid record in Western Canada, where it has carried out several major projects. One of its achievements involved engineering mandates for electric sub-stations, infrastructure and equipment management and maintenance plans (electric networks, dams, hydro-electric stations) as well as specification mandates to increase the power of turbogenerator units.

BBA is celebrating its 30th year of existence this year, and has grown substantially over the past decade.
