Social Engagement

  1. Since its founding, BBA has contributed to improving the quality of life in communities where it operates. It supports organizations in four main areas: environment, education, health and the fight against poverty.
  1. BBA Employee Giving Program

    Each year, our employees are invited to donate to one of three causes that are close to our hearts:

    • United Way/Centraide
    • HealthPartners
    • Tree Canada

    BBA matches every dollar donated by each team member as part of the Employee Giving Program. Year after year, over $100,000 is collected in support of these three organizations, thanks to our employees’ generosity.

  2. Supporting Tomorrow's Young Professionals

    Committed to preparing tomorrow’s young professionals for a successful future career, BBA supports research programs in various schools across the country, sponsors student scholarships and backs engineering competitions. In part, BBA also participated in the OSM’s La musique aux enfants project, an initiative aiming to introduce preschool children to music-based learning in order to promote long-term academic success.

  3. Protecting the Environment

    Protecting the environment is one of BBA’s core values, supported by our annual donations to Tree Canada under the Employee Giving Program.

    Additionally, BBA has been the official sponsor for the Tree for Life award, presented by the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC) at the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards. This distinction honours engineers who have created a stand-out project, thanks to the quality of its environmental stewardship.

  4. Supporting Local Communities

    BBA takes great care to respect the communities in which it operates, that’s why we support local organizations to help them flourish and succeed. For example, BBA has been holding annual blood drives at its head office since 2002 in cooperation with Héma-Québec and local businesses.
